Job Summary: This role will be responsible for the overall day-to-day maintenance and operations of the building M&E systems including electrical installations, ACMV systems, lighting, generator sets, fire protection, lifts and escalators, plumbing, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall day-to-day maintenance and operations of the building M&E systems including electrical installations, ACMV systems, lighting, generator sets, fire protection, lifts and escalators, plumbing, etc.
Ensure all M&E systems are operating according to the system design and operation intent.
Plan and procure M&E maintenance contracts and parts repair/replacement within given stipulated timeline.
Provide guidance and leadership to building technicians on all related M&E matters in order to achieve set KPIs.
Coordinate and supervise M&E maintenance and repair activities by vendors / contractors or technicians based on standards.
Monitor, liaise and oversee all M&E AEI / upgrading projects with consultants and/or vendors based on tender specifications and schedule.
Communicate professionally with tenants on feedbacks, unit fitting out and handover / taking over matters.
Forecast and prepare M&E budget and monitor expenditure within planned budget.
Assist in tender process, such as tender specifications, site walk, tender clarifications and prepare tender review and approval papers.
Ensure Green Mark compliance and work closely with Green Mark consultant and vendor to achieve Green Mark objectives.
Work closely with other departments to achieve the above duties.
Requirements:
Possess a Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), Building Services or its equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in maintaining M&E building systems, preferably in a commercial building.
Possess sound knowledge in building operations / maintenance, tenant management, M&E engineering.
Strong team player with good planning, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Able to work independently with integrity, proactiveness and innovation.
Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
