Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is working with an Asian market Bunker trading firm looking to add a back to back bunker trader to their team in Singapore to assist in the continuation of their rapid growth over the last 2 years.

Responsibilities:
Back to back trading of bunkers / marine fuel
Work with the cargo team on back to back cargo trading
Establish relationships with end users and suppliers to facilitate back to back bunker trading
Enhance existing relationships with counterparties in the bunker markets
Stay on top of market news and insight
Work closely with the ops team on the physical trade
Experience:
3-5 years experience in a back to back bunker / marine fuel trading position
Solid understanding of the APAC region bunker markets
Understanding of cargo trading is a benefit
Fluent in English (mandarin would be a benefit)
Good knowledge of risk management process
Network of contacts in the back to back bunker industry
