New opportunity for an accomplished bunker broker at an industry leading, independent bunker broking firm. Our client has offices globally covering Middle East, US and European markets servicing clients including oil majors, trading houses, ship owners and operators.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide back to back trading/broking services of bunkers and marine fuels to Asian based clients.
• Maintain knowledge of industry legislation.
• Grow main accounts whilst developing additional business with new suppliers, brokers and traders is equally important.
• Build lasting relationships with suppliers and end users within the designated ports of your region.
• Trading of cross products including lubricant and cargo utilising blue chip accounts.
• Implement strategic trade planning for clients and provide analysis to effectively plan future trades.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years' experience in a trading environment within bunker fuels, marine fuels, MGO, MFO, lubricants and fuel oils.
• An established network of transferable business and demonstrable track record within bunker and marine fuel.
• Knowledge of Singaporean ports, bunkering and current industry legislation such as SECA's (Sulphur Emission Control Areas) and IMO 2020.
• Experience of gaining and growing key accounts/relationships with blue chip customers in the marine industry.
• Proven understanding of business development strategies, planning and analytical skills.
