Job Description

We are seeking a Business Administrator (full-time) to join our dynamic, enthusiastic and expanding team. The successful candidate will support our operations across multiple countries. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient administrative processes, effective communication, and coordination across various functions including finance, HR, and general office management. The role will involve:


Administrative Support:

Provide administrative assistance to senior management. Coordinate company employee events and handle travel arrangements.

HR and Employee Support:

Administer HR policies and procedures across multiple offices. Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local labour laws. Support recruitment and training efforts and assist with HR administrative tasks including onboarding, offboarding, and personnel records maintenance. Support HR initiatives. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Implement HR policies and procedures across international offices.

Office Management:

Manage office supplies and equipment, coordinate office operations and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Financial Management:

Manage accounting vendors across different countries to ensure accurate processing of invoices and payments. Ensure compliance with country-specific tax/financial regulations and manage tax filings with vendors. Assist with financial reporting, expense reports, budgeting, and forecasting and audit preparations. Monitor financial health and performance metrics.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on local regulations and ensure company-wide compliance and maintain documentation Manage business licenses and permits across multiple jurisdictions. Monitor and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies across all countries.

Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimization. Develop and implement strategic plans for business operations across multiple countries. Drive operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards of quality Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across multiple locations.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Serve as a liaison between headquarters and regional offices, ensuring effective communication and coordination. Collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth business operations and project coordination. Support international regulatory compliance efforts and maintain documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in similar roles managing business operations, preferably in a multi-country roles. Experience in the education and EdTech industry is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail. Understanding of business practices, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and cultures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,) and familiarity with relevant software applications (ERP systems, financial software, etc.).
