About the Role
In this role, you will use your knowledge of Financial Market Data and problem-solving skills working with a team of developers to design, develop, and deploy software solutions and data pipelines to create new data products to be used by researchers and quantitative traders.
The team is focused on building and maintaining ETL projects, data pipelines, as well as backend services to serve different datasets. In this role, you will have exposure to financial market data and how it is used in automated trading on global stock exchanges.

Responsibilities
Collaborating with the research team and/or other users to come up with valuable datasets
Defining quality and validation checks for data integrity. Support dataset pipelines.
Dataset characterization and documentation
Required for the Role
1-3 years of experience working with Financial Market Data and Financial Market Data Vendors (Reuters, FactSet, Bloomberg, MSCI, etc)
Must have at least one of the following areas of knowledge: Market Data, Reference Data and Corporate Actions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language)
Willingness to learn new technologies and business domains
Ready to work in BGC office, as per schedule
Desirable
Keen eye on data quality to help ensure correct dataset delivery backed up by technical/scholastic approach
Basic programming skills or understanding
Knowledge on Cryptocurrency
Existing experience working in a high-performing team-based environment
