About the M&A Consulting Unit
The M&A Consulting Unit provides advisory services to clients seeking strategic expansion opportunities in Southeast Asia and India. Our key areas of expertise include:

• Buy-side Advisory: Supporting Japanese and regional companies in acquisitions and strategic investments
• Sell-side Advisory: Acting as financial advisors to companies looking to divest, as well as assisting early-stage companies in fundraising

We provide our clients with holistic M&A support from Pre-M&A Strategy Development to M&A Execution, including deal sourcing, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation. With a leaner, entrepreneurial team, interns will gain diverse exposure across the M&A process, ensuring continuous learning, development and a great sense of achievement.

Duration: Full-time internship for 5 months from August 2025. This internship can be credit-bearing or based on Leave of Absence (LOA).

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the Head of M&A Consulting and the team to support decision-making and strategy development. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting market research, financial analysis, and competitor benchmarking to support M&A strategy development for buy-side and sell-side clients
• Assisting in the preparation of Teasers, Pitch Decks, and Information Memorandums for sell-side transactions
• Supporting deal evaluation and due diligence by consolidating data, conducting in-depth analysis, and translating findings into actionable insights
• Taking charge of a distinct workstream within management consulting projects, developing strategic recommendations, and presenting findings to key stakeholders

Who We Are Looking For
Required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities, with a hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Self-motivated, independent and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Research, Consulting, M&A / Corporate Finance experience preferred
• Other language capability (Business level) is an advantage
