Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Business Analyst
with strong expertise inAWS
andSQL
to support a modernization initiative migrating an on-premise portal to AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design cloud-aligned solutions, and ensure smooth implementation throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze existing functionalities, and convert them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.Solution Design:
Partner with architects, framework teams, and developers to ensure solutions align with business goals and technical feasibility.Testing Oversight:
Review and refine test cases, identify necessary data for validation, and ensure comprehensive test execution.Risk Management:
Identify potential risks during grooming or development and develop mitigation and contingency plans.Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain user stories, test cases, and provide timely updates on progress, risks, and deviations to supervisors and product owners.Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a
Business Analyst
in IT or cloud migration projects. Strong knowledge ofAWS services
,cloud architecture
, andbest practices
. Proficiency inSQL
for data analysis and validation. Experience withAgile methodologies
(sprint planning, backlog management, iterative development). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.AWS Certification
is an advantage.Must-Have Skills:
