8 November 2024We are looking for a Business Analyst to work on Asset and Liability Management (ALM) Digital projects for a leading bank..Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Banking, Financial Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline;
• Has 3+ years of relevant experience in the business analysis;
• Understanding and experience in the area of ALM Risk, including Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Risk;
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel;
• Prior business analysis experience in interfacing between IT Teams and end Users;
• Translate business requirements into documents that can be used by IT Teams for the development of systems solutions;
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge of LCR, NSFR, MCO and IRRBB;
• Prior experience in implementing or managing an ALM Risk System;
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI usage.

Responsibilities

• Gather, collate, and analyze requirements from business users and provide clear functional specifications for enhancements to ALM Risk Systems;
• Perform impact analysis of enhancement requests on existing processes;
• Design solutions that are sound, adequate, and forward-looking to address ALM business requirements;
• Plan, schedule, and execute deliverable objectives from initiation till successful implementation within agreed timelines;
• Devise comprehensive test plans (including test scenarios and test cases) to test IT deliverables;
• Perform User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, Simulation Testing, and Live verification to ensure system deliveries meet requirements and objectives;
• Formulate a Roadmap for ALM Risk Systems that continually addresses existing and potential business needs;
• Provide functional support to business users and co-manage ALM Risk System production issues with technology partners.
