We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our dynamic Capital Market IT department! As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from both your IT Division and aligned Filieres to define, document, and translate business requirements into actionable software specifications. You will be a key advocate for business value, ensuring that our software solutions meet the needs of our users and contribute to the overall success of our operations. Capital Markets IT involves technology solutions and systems used in financial markets for trading, investment, and related activities. This includes electronic trading platforms, risk management systems, market risk, counterparty risk, algorithmic trading, data analytics, and Regulatory measures. The use of advanced technologies like API's, artificial intelligence and cloud solutions are also becoming increasingly prevalent in capital markets to enhance efficiency and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs and objectives.
• Work with the Product Owner (PO) to prioritize requirements and decompose them into detailed user stories, ensuring a clear roadmap for development.
• Translate requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, including detailed descriptions of user interactions, data flows, and system behaviour.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the software design aligns with the functional specifications and meets the defined requirements.
• Provide functional expertise to the development team, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the business processes and user needs.
• Research existing solutions, both internal and external, to determine if they can be leveraged to meet the business requirements.
• Understand technical constraints and participate in software design discussions, ensuring that the solution is feasible and aligns with the overall system architecture.
• Ensure the functional quality of the software, including participation in functional testing and providing functional support during production.
• Analyze the impact of functional changes on current production Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
• Contribute to Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) activities by providing user scenarios and supporting functional testing efforts.
• Contribute to deployment activities by providing functional prerequisites and performing post-deployment checks.
• Support team members in their functional activities, train new joiners, and help resolve functional issues.
• Ensure the seamless integration of the software into the existing IT infrastructure, collaborating closely with the Functional Architect.
• Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, documentation.

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst in a financial organization and more specifically on Market Data administration domain.
• Relevant experience in FPML format
• Proven experience in technical proficiency with strong skills in SQL, Excel and possibility programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis. Familiarity with database management and querying
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both team mates and management
• Ability to convey clearly and concisely ideas in a concrete and coherent way.
• Willing to do L3 Support if required.
• Exposure in the management of Static Market data
• Exposure to data provider (BBG, REFINITIV...)
• Exposure to the Capital Markets with proficiency in financial instruments (FX, Bonds, Rates, Equity, etc..), trading lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
