Job Description

:As a Business Analyst specializing in Student Management Systems, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of educational institutions and translating them into functional requirements for the SMS. You will work closely with stakeholders, including administrators, faculty, and IT teams, to analyze processes, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that the SMS effectively supports academic and administrative operations.

• Working hours : Monday- Friday 8.30am- 5.45pm
• Working location : Jurong West
• Salary Package : Up to SGD7000 (basic)

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document requirements from stakeholders, including administrators, faculty, and staff, to understand their needs and objectives related to the Student Management System.
• Analyze existing student management processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement SMS solutions that meet the needs of educational institutions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows for the Student Management System.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and provide insights into student management and performance.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather feedback, validate requirements, and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Assist in testing and validating SMS enhancements and new features to ensure they meet business and user requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users, including administrators and faculty, to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the SMS.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, process flows, and system configurations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in student management to continuously improve the SMS.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
• 5 proven years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with experience in education or student management systems.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
• Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with educators, administrators, and IT teams.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
