The Business Compliance Service Manager role within the EmB Business Compliance Team is responsible for reviewing and carrying out surveillance work on Corporate accounts (Emerging Business) to manage risks pertaining to anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing or economic and trade sanctions.

The Business Compliance Service Manager is expected to be highly accurate and meticulous in preparing the various management reports. The successful candidate is expected to comply with the reporting standard and requirement and provide timely submission as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform various types of triggering event reviews on customer accounts in a timely and efficient manner.
• Contact customer for clarifications and/or obtain updated profile information.
• Perform update to customer profile in the Bank systems.
• Prepare the various senior management reports and monthly extension report in a timely and accurate manner.
• Liaise with vendor and various internal stakeholders in managing the common mailbox and BOT.
• Conduct research via available Bank systems, commercial databases and the internet.
• Provide administrative support to the team.
• Collaborate with business users and project team members on problem resolution, project initiation, implementation and post implementation support.
• Contribute to developing and ensuring a compliant culture within the business users.
• Participate in process enhancement or automation projects to enable the team to gain more efficiency.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
We are looking for degree holders who possess:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Good awareness of bank controls
• Proficiency in MS office applications, World check or Factiva
• Keen eye for detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and/or other languages
• Ability to articulate thought processes clearly, concisely and effectively.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in high pressure environment to meet deadlines.
