Business Consultant - InnovationTechnology is transforming and evolving at an accelerated pace. The rising use of AI and existing technologies brings great potential to innovate.As an Innovation Consultant, you will be part of our diverse and dynamic global Innovation team based in our Singapore Technology Center working with business IT to enable, accelerate and support their Innovation needs.Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive business/ technical workshops with business stakeholders to understand business needs and wants, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that create business value and drive business outcome. Continuous engagement with stakeholder to discover the data needs, current and to be systems and engage the team/ external partners for POC, MVP of the applications. Develop strong partnership with stakeholders, enhance and enable stakeholder experience.
  • Co-develop strategy and roadmap for disruptive, emerging technologies.
Stakeholder Management (Business Teams)
  • Develops and maintains positive business relationships with senior / executive level internal customers, skilled in executive level communication.
  • Create the operating model and strategy for the continuous engagement of business teams.
  • Understand the Collaborative Innovation mission, strategy, and drivers. Communicate to business teams to create conducive platforms for engagement.
  • Understands and can describe business drivers, strategy, KPIs.
Product Owner:
  • Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of projects performance post-launch to evaluate scaling and implementation. Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum and Innovation best practices and new trends. Data analysis and engineering exploratory research on emerging technologies.
  • As a product owner, prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog to balance the requirements of the stakeholders Partner with stakeholders and clients across the organization to communicate about the roadmap, strategy, features, and prioritization.
  • Develop and conduct design thinking workshops to understand the business needs and translate them into business problem statements for innovation.
  • Perform playbacks with business teams including the executives and the senior leaders and define the roadmap to scale innovation.
  • Define the business problem to deliver in shorter timescales.
  • Collaborate with team members and gig team members for planning and grooming of the requirements.
Business Analysis and Process Optimization
  • Business Analysis of opportunities in the business to co-innovate. Drive collaboration with business stakeholders to discover the business needs and translate it into a business problem statement.
  • Based on business knowledge & co creation, proactively identifies, scopes, and roadmaps technology solutions that align with strategic business goals.
  • Develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
  • Identify best practices and benchmarks associated with process.
  • Interview and gather feedback from the stake holders and develop practices and process for productivity and efficiency.
  • Establish measures for the process.
  • Transform business process with the help of technology.
Solution Realization:
  • Lead projects from concept to realization, engaging, building & motivating project teams.
  • Plans and coordinates implementation of technology projects, either working independently or with cross border team members
  • Proactively maintains awareness of enterprise strategy occurring that impact business stakeholders, assures appropriate communication, impacts understood and managed or leveraged.
  • Promotes technology & coordinates (or conducts) technology training.
  • Ability to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Supports & mentors less experienced team members

Requirements:
  • At least 10+ experience in end-to-end innovation and/or transformation projects.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in managing and collaborating with business teams (stakeholders).
  • Experience in working with ecosystem partners (technology service providers, government bodies).
  • Lead and drive business/ technical workshops with business stakeholders to understand business needs and wants, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that create business value and drive business outcome.
