PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Being a team player in the team, assist the team to ensure smooth running of:

Credit Review Process and issues.

Asset Quality of CMP Loans Portfolio

Credit risk issues including asset quality, risk & loss control for CMP Loans Portfolio * Co-manage in areas such as:

  • Compliance for CMP
  • Audit for CMP
  • Operational Risks for CMP
Co-assist in coordinating departmental meetings

Ensure completion of all mandatory training

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • CMP Loans Portfolio (Asset Quality, Credit Reviews & Credit issues)
  • Preparing monthly credit reviews
  • Co-manage CMP delinquent portfolio, including highlighting any red flags, ensuring reminders and demand letters are sent promptly, and performing culling exercise of the portfolio
  • Risk, Compliance & Audit
  • To assist in CMP's Business Risk Compliance Officer's role and responsibility which include:
  • Covering as coordinator / liaison party with Risk, Compliance and Audit
  • Assisting to identify market, operational and documentation risk that the department will be subjected to (Risk)
  • Assisting to develop and monitor the controls in place to reduce the department's risk exposure (Risk)
  • Assisting to vet and approve any risk / loss (LDCs) affecting or incurred via EVO by CMP (Risk)
  • Performing timely assessment and submission of Risk related reporting (RCSA, KRI, KCT, MRA, BCM etc) (Risk)
  • Ensure the department complies with all the regulatory and internal guidelines (Compliance)
  • Assisting to highlight any regulatory updates or compliance findings (Compliance)
  • Assisting to coordinate on all regulatory survey or information gathering for the department (Compliance)
  • Performing timely assessment and submission of Compliance related reporting (KOR, AMLRA, MAS Credit Condition Survey / SME Financing Survey, CRS, FATCA reporting) (Compliance)
  • Assisting to coordinate and assist on any audits performed on the department (Audit)
  • Assisting to coordinate and submit any requests (PARA, Audit Risk Assessment) or queries posted by auditor (Audit)
  • Assisting to implement and manage control / checking process to ensure department is compliance to existing policy, guideline and regulations
  • Assisting to highlight and manage any risk, compliance related issue arising from the market practice or within the department
  • Assisting to highlight any updates on Ops Risk / Regulatory or Compliance related matter to the department
  • Co-handle / Co-administer / co-onduct any ad-hoc projects / meetings / discussions / briefings pertaining to Risk, Compliance and Audit matters
  • Process Control for CMP
  • To assist in the roles and responsibilities of Deputy CMP coordinator for Process Control, which includes:
  • managing and controlling the process & procedures that the department is using and subject to
  • coordinating and summarizing any updated OM from other departments
  • highlighting any updated process or procedures that will affect CMP
  • ensuring the department's OM is being reviewed
  • handling / administering any ad-hoc projects / meetings / discussions pertaining to Process & Procedures matters
  • To complete all the mandatory training
Qualifications
  • Degree Holder
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the credit approving, control and administration capacity.
  • Possess good knowledge in lending skills and processes, especially in the Commercial/SME banking segment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to details.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage staff and work with other support units.
  • Able to work in a high pressure environment as well as in a team
