Role Overview

The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our construction project pipeline in Singapore and the wider region. A critical aspect of this role is leveraging established relationships in

China

to facilitate joint ventures, investment partnerships, and cross-border collaboration that strengthen our company's development and market position.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute growth strategies to expand the company's presence in Singapore and regional construction markets. Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, focusing on partnerships and clients from China. Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with Chinese developers, investors, contractors, and government-linked entities. Lead negotiations and deal structuring for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with company objectives and operational capabilities. Monitor industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and competitor activities in Singapore and China. Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, and trade events in both Singapore and China.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 10 years of business development experience in the construction or infrastructure industry. Strong track record of securing large-scale projects and partnerships, especially with Chinese stakeholders. Well-established network with Chinese developers, contractors, and investors. Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in

Mandarin and English
