The Business Development Director will lead strategic development, market expansion, and cross-border business operations across Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. This role focuses on driving sustainable growth by leveraging AI-driven solutions and partnerships, expanding the local market presence, and aligning regional strategies with the company's global vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the Southeast Asia regional strategy in coordination with the Asia Pacific Business Group.

Market Expansion:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within AI-related industries, including enterprise solutions, smart city projects, and digital transformation initiatives.

Partnership & Ecosystem Development:

- Build strategic alliances with local government bodies, technology partners, and enterprise clients to promote the adoption of AI-driven solutions.

Operational Management:

- Oversee local operations, financial targets, and team performance while maintaining compliance with corporate standards.

Cross-cultural Team Leadership:

- Lead multicultural teams across Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, fostering collaboration and capability building.

Innovation & Product Localization:

- Collaborate closely with product and R&D teams to adapt AI products and services to local needs.

Business Analysis & Reporting:

- Track performance indicators, market intelligence, and competition to provide strategic recommendations to the senior leadership team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 6+ years of experience in the technology or AI sector, including leadership exposure in regional markets. Proven track record in business development, strategic management, and cross-functional coordination. Deep understanding of AI applications, digital transformation trends, or cloud ecosystem. * Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with multicultural communication experience.
