+ Foster relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to promote the theatre's offerings and services.
Sales & Partnership Management
+ Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate sponsors, donors, arts organizations, and influencers.
+ Negotiate and close deals for event sponsorships, group bookings, and private events at the theatre.
+ Collaborate with the marketing and programming teams to design tailored sales strategies for different target segments.
+ Act as the primary liaison between the theatre and external partners, ensuring a smooth and mutually beneficial collaboration.
Event & Program Promotion
+ Work closely with the marketing team to support the promotion of performances, events, and special programming.
+ Assist in the creation of compelling sales materials and promotional content for targeted outreach initiatives.
+ Coordinate outreach efforts for specific shows, productions, or seasons to maximize sales and engagement.
Reporting & Analysis
+ Track and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies, including sales performance, partnership growth, and audience engagement.
+ Analyze key performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement based on data insights.
+ Maintain accurate records of leads, contracts, and business development activities.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management, preferably within the arts, entertainment, or cultural industries.
Strong understanding of the theatre industry, including audience development, sponsorship, and event planning.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive growth and exceed targets.
A network of industry contacts (corporate, philanthropic, or government) is a plus.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft offce, and other business tools.
A passion for the arts, theatre, and live performances.
Proficiency in English & Mandarin, spoken and written.
