What the role is:The Centre of Innovation for Electronics and IoT (COI-EIoT) at Nanyang Polytechnic is seeking two (2) Business Development Executives, to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to developing business strategy and executing the overall business development & marketing plans, in the domain of electronics, IoT, AI and digitalization.What you will be working on:

• Develop business strategy and execute the overall business development & marketing plans to meet targeted goals
• Identify new business opportunities in technical projects and training
• Build and maintain a network of contacts, develop and nurture relationships with strategic clients to understand their needs and secure long-term partnerships
• Plan and organise industry events, promotion and outreach activities
• Prepare project proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition
• Negotiate and close business deals
• Oversee the successful implementation of solution and maintain regular communication with client and project progress
• Perform administrative functions to support the business development activities

What we are looking for:The candidate should possess the relevant qualifications, skills in one or more of the following areas:

• Relevant qualification in Engineering discipline or Business/Marketing
• At least 2 years relevant working experience in business development and/or marketing
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Working experience in social media and digital marketing will be an advantage
• Strong technical understanding of one or more areas in electronics, IoT, AI and digitalization will be an advantage
