About The Role

We are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Business Development Executive to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers in the APAC region. The goal is to meet and surpass the company\'s expectations to drive rapid and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Contact potential clients through social selling, cold calling, and emails.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Present our company to potential clients, identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Sales Executives.
  • Obtain in-depth knowledge of Kpler\'s products and services.
  • Actively prepare, run and respond to sophisticated email campaigns/cadences, using prospecting tools such as Hubspot, Apollo, Amplemarket etc.
  • Keep accurate and complete information on the Salesforce CRM system, including prospecting activity.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure quality leads.
  • Schedule online product demonstrations for an assigned Sales Representative.
  • Participate in marketing events, trade shows, and Company events.
  • To research and utilize industry tools to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development, Sales Executive, or similar role.
  • A hunting mentality with a very strong Sales DNA and demonstrated success.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques.
  • Previous experience working at established and early-stage companies.
  • A track record of developing a greenfield territory, attracting net new logos.
  • The ability to identify use cases and value propositions across a broad range of verticals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is beneficial.
  • The ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • The ability to work cross-culturally and cross-functionally.
  • The right level of entrepreneurship, creativity, and commitment.
  • Maritime domain experience is a plus.
  • A Bachelor\'s degree or higher.
