COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client, one of the top Telecommunications service providers from Japan, is looking to hire a Japanese-speaking Business Development Executive to assist in investment projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify startup companies that have high potential to collaborate by market research, participating in pitch events and networking with venture capital firms
- Manage meeting with startup company and related parties
- Introduce the startup company to internal stakeholders and discuss on the collaboration business
- Prepare investment consideration document that includes the future collaboration business between the potential investee and group companies, and discuss with HQ, to get an approval for an investment into a startup company
- Propose and manage new collaboration businesses between group companies and investee companies
- Research and analyse the startup eco-system and IT market trends, and make a report document of it, to share with HQ
- Business level proficiency in Japanese language both verbal and written in order to liaise with Japanese clients and market research reports to Japan HQ
- Strong business acumen with strong interests in keeping up-to-date with new technologies and new business models in the world, especially in IT field
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation, negotiation skills.
- Outgoing personality and someone who enjoys networking at industry events
-Package: Basic salary + Performance bonus
-Working Location: Central Singapore.
