This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, strategy, and client relationship management while contributing to our continued success.



The primary focus of this internship is to support the growth of our subscription business across the APAC region. Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Development for APAC Asset Management and Real Estate, you will support the growth of Oxford Economics subscription services. The role involves conducting outbound lead generation, maintaining CRM systems, assisting with sales processes, and contributing to marketing initiatives.

You will work closely with internal teams, to manage new business and client engagement and support business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities


Sales and Lead Generation


Support the development and execution of a market research plan, finding previously unidentified prospects. Compile lists of leads and delegate them to the Business Development team. Identify key prospects, including companies, individuals, and teams. Track key people moves, current news and market publications. Support coordination and outreach campaigns.

CRM Management and Analysis


Maintain and update the Salesforce CRM system, including data entry, cross-checking, and setting up trial notifications. Ensure accurate contact details for new leads and prospects and build comprehensive lead lists. Generate reports and develop tools to monitor and evaluate sales and marketing efforts. Campaign planning, drafting and preparation of the multi touchpoints (to be validated/sent by responsible BD) Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


The ideal candidate is rigorous, independent, and attentive and can demonstrate the following skills.

Required


Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Self-starter with a strong drive to set and achieve ambitious goals. Eye for detail and accuracy.

Desired


Background in business, management, or marketing (seeking Bachelor's or Master's level). Interest in a career in sales, marketing, or other commercial roles. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Effective problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
