The Opportunity:Adecco is partnering with a leading local cargo logistics company that specializes in Freight Management & Distribution, Warehousing Management & Value Added Services, Bonded Logistics Hub and Project Logistics globally, and we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their business! Taking on a 100% hunter role, the successful incumbent is tasked with achieving sales targets and boosting revenue by expanding the customer base and providing appropriate logistics solutions in line with corporate strategies while fostering strong internal and external relationships to enhance customer satisfaction to drive higher sales revenue.The company specializes in key industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, Heavy Machinery, Construction, and Metal & Steel.

• Full-time, permanent opportunity
• Location: West region
• Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
• Salary: up to $7500 + AWS + Commission + Transportation Allowance

The Job:

• Achieve sales targets and drive growth by identifying and expanding the customer base and industry sectors.
• Promote service offerings, conduct sales calls and visits, and develop pricing models based on customer needs.
• Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries, RFQs, tenders, and RFIs while communicating customer expectations internally.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and manage accounts receivable collections.
• Prepare and submit sales reports and analyses.
• Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

The Talent:

• Diploma/Degree in any relevant discipline.
• Minimally 2 years of sales experience in the supply chain/logistics industry.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and negotiate with customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
