Business Development Manager - SEA Gaming & Advertising Partnerships

We are a leading overseas advertising technology company seeking a

Business Development Manager

to expand our footprint in the Southeast Asia gaming market.


This role is ideal for candidates who have a solid track record in

advertising agency sales

, understand the local

gaming ecosystem

, and are familiar with major platforms such as

Meta, Google, TikTok, and Apple ASA

.


Key Responsibilities

1.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management



Identify and develop partnerships with

local game developers, publishers, and distribution channels

through trade shows (e.g., TGA, GDC), in-person meetings, and virtual engagements. Analyze client needs and formulate customized advertising strategies tailored to specific game genres (e.g., SLG, MMO, RPG). Drive signing and conversion of advertising budgets, ensuring ROI delivery. Conduct regular follow-ups to maintain client relationships and explore upsell opportunities, enhancing long-term customer value (LTV).

2.

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence



Track industry trends in the gaming and adtech space, including regional user preferences and regulatory shifts. Monitor competitors' advertising strategies and partnership models, distilling insights to inform differentiated market entry tactics.

3.

Cross-functional Collaboration



Work closely with

legal and finance

teams to negotiate contracts, manage risk exposure, and ensure timely payment collection. Ensure compliance across all partnership processes.

Qualifications

1.

Education



Bachelor's degree or above in

Marketing, International Business, Media, or Game-related disciplines

is preferred.

2.

Experience



At least

3 years of experience in advertising agencies

or media sales, ideally with a portfolio of local clients. Gaming industry exposure is highly valued. Strong understanding of

Southeast Asia / Greater China (HK/Macau/Taiwan)

game and digital ad markets.

Core Skills



Data Literacy

: Skilled in

Excel, SQL, and Google Analytics

with a data-driven approach to decision-making. *

Tools

: Familiar with major advertising platforms such as

Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Apple Search Ads (ASA)
