Job Description

:

This position will report to the Head of Commercial (SEA) and will be required to be travelling within Philippines. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Consultant to help us expand in Philippines. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective commercial strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with government agencies, partners and clients in Philippines.

Scope of Services and Consultant\xe2\x80\x99s Duties and Responsibilities

• Consultant shall perform all the Services with the degree of professional skill, care, competence, and diligence.

• Consultant to be equipped with her own IT equipment for the term of this agreement

• Consultant is specifically required to deliver and achieve the following services expected of her in Philippines. Any material changes to the scope of services shall be discussed and mutually agreed between Company and Consultant, such agreement not to be unreasonably withheld by either Party.

a.
New Business Development

• Identify new projects and/or new customers for the Company\xe2\x80\x99s products

• Conduct market research and development of potential partners

• Participate in new product development meetings

• Negotiate and propose term sheet or development agreement to Management for approval.

b. Sales and General Activities

• Regular follow up meetings with business partners

• Liaising with government agencies, CDCs and pharmaceutical factories

• Achieving sales targets as agreed with management

• Follow up customer requests: technical, analytical, and regulatory.

• Negotiate and close purchase orders and contracts

c. Reporting Create a written report to include the following:

• Activities completed and ongoing activities

• Current projects\xe2\x80\x99 activities and progress;

• Any other adhoc reports and works as and when requested by the Department Head

Prerequisites:

1. Degree in science, business, or pharmacy studies 2. At least 8 years of BD experience with pharma/biotech/vaccines MNCs, preferably within Philippines 3. Able to communicate and write in Chinese. 4. Full time position 5. Good track records of working relationships with PFDA, and distribution/manufacturing partners 6. Excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills 7. Have keen market perception, the ability to grasp market dynamics and market direction, and have a deep understanding of value chain.
