The Responsibilities:
This role is based in Singapore and will be focusing on acquiring business development strategic projects which include:
Provide comprehensive support for lead generation, internal cost monitoring, coordination, proposal submission, and client follow-up to secure projects
Formulate and put into action global market entry strategies by conducting thorough primary and secondary research, including analysis of industry trends, market conditions, competition, and customer requirements
Collaborate closely with the Business Development Director and the team to pinpoint fresh markets for existing products and services, while also exploring potential partnerships for development and marketing
Functionally report to the BD Director and deliver weekly progress updates to the Country Manager or a designated representative regarding the advancement of the business development process
Hold responsibility for the Southeast Asia region
Ensure customer satisfaction and cultivate loyalty for recurring projects
Participate in meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners, actively pursuing business opportunities and advocating for the organization\'s interests
Conduct market research, either internally or through external resources, to keep management informed about the latest market and industry trends
Evaluate the results of market research and assess the feasibility of entering different market segments to foster growth, providing recommendations to the Business Development Director
Aid the Business Development Director in the establishment and management of enduring business relationships with strategic partners in the Oil and Gas industries
Offer comprehensive support to the Business Development Director in driving strategic initiatives related to business development opportunities, strategic alliances, joint ventures, distribution agreements, mergers/acquisitions/divestitures, and intellectual property rights licensing, among other endeavours
Make decisions for the organization within defined authority limits, considering factors such as return on investment (ROI), risk assessment, and cost/benefit analysis
The Requirements:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Business or Engineering
Minimum 6 years of applicable work experience in business development, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the engineering, construction, or Oil and Gas sectors
