Purposes of the position:
A highly motivated individual with the relevant skill sets, capable of establishing new accounts and
develop the freight forwarding business in Singapore
Manage and meet targeted growth for the freight and project forwarding desk
Responsibilities:
Establishing sales strategies, developing new freight forwarding business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships
Formulate 6-12 month sales action plan in line with group's direction
Meet and achieve specified individual sales target KPI and budget
Participate and presenting sales offers to clients including global and local tenders
Scheduling and arranging client meetings as per stipulated sales outreach program
Accurate and regular updating and upkeeping on CRM
Weekly/ monthly commercial reporting to direct Manager on all sales and business development activities
Recovery of payment dues for assigned accounts as per agreed terms
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Network of freight forwarding agents
Strategic service providers, vendors, carriers

Specific requirements for the position:
Essential:
Diploma or degree in business administration, logistics or a related field
Familiarity with all Freight Forwarding business products, processes and regulations
Relevant experience with a track record in sales and business development preferably in the freight forwarding industry
Ability to work independently and effectively in a high pressure and fast paced working environment
Resourceful and result-oriented with strong ability to prioritize tasks to achieve the assigned sales target
An accomplished self-starter who is able to hands-on/lead the whole cycle of commercial process from acquisition to completion
Existing business pipelines and connections will be a plus
OOG/ Breakbulk project cargo expertise an added advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible in working with partners from different time zone when required
