Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the insurance portfolio targeting clients from or related to the
Thai market
.
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, brokers, and distribution channels serving the Thai community or high-net-worth individuals.
Work closely with internal teams including underwriting, marketing, and product development to tailor solutions to market needs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and improve offerings.
Manage end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to onboarding and after-sales service.
Support marketing and branding efforts specific to the Thai-speaking segment, including events, seminars, and content creation.
Requirements:
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in
insurance
, ideally in business development, sales, or distribution roles.
Proven track record of success in developing the
Thai/HNW market segment
.
Strong understanding of insurance products, distribution models, and regulatory frameworks.
Fluency in Thai and English
is required, to liaise with Thai-speaking clients and partners.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in HNW life insurance or cross-border insurance solutions.
Existing network within the Thai-speaking client base or referral partners in Singapore.
Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
