Job Description

Our client is a leading healthcare distribution business with strong presence regionally and locally, with its mission to ensure healthcare providers have access to supplies they need in order to deliver the best care to their patients. To cater its continuous growth, they are currently seeking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join & drive growth strategy, and expand their market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business development strategies and initiatives to drive growth in the logistics division, aligned with the company\'s overall objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients and strategic partners in the healthcare industry, focusing on logistics and supply chain management.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities, keeping the company at the forefront of innovation and best practices.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track the effectiveness of business development initiatives, providing regular progress reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in any discipline, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics.
• Prior sales/business development experience in Logistics/Supply Chain field with industry knowledge.
• Candidates with prior Healthcare/Medical Distribution experience will be advantageous.
• Solid knowledge & understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution processes and best practices.
• Excellent communications, negotiations and presentation skills; able to build strong rapports with business partners.
