As a Business Development Manager, you will achieve business and funding opportunities through proactive outreach to potential clients, including but not limited to corporations, institutions, and government agencies. You will focus on cultivating existing business opportunities, generating new business opportunities, and positioning VCS as a valuable resource in the communities we serve through strategic planning with the Division Head. Grant writing is also a part of this role. Responsibilities
Promote the products offered by WODE through face-face sales calls, attendance at conferences/exhibitions, and cold-calling activities. \xe2\x80\xa2
Liaise with existing vendors to save money for company
Look at new gaps and opportunities in different industries that have not been targeted previously
Liaise with internal departments and clients to develop proposals, carry out proposal revisions and provide such updates internally.
Aid business forecasts.
Ensure sales presentations and accounts are up-to-date.
Serve and interact with existing clients, maintain client relationship to ensure clients continue to work with WODE
Requirements
Minimum degree qualification in any field
Minimum 3 - 5 years experience as a business development or in B2B sales role
Effective communication and excellent presentation skills
Experience in developing new business units
Proven track record in developing new business relationships with key players in any industry
Fluent in English, mandarin, both spoken and written
