Here at Angel Baby Box Pte Ltd, we are looking to accelerate this growth to a global community of new and expectant parents. A fabulous opportunity has arisen to join us at our Head Office in Singapore. You will be responsible for developing business opportunities and partnerships in Singapore and Asia and the opportunity to travel with other markets to grow. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development and sales within the baby/nursery product sector and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. The position offers a competitive salary and commission structure, with the potential for significant earnings as the company grows.   • Inherit already established accounts in Singapore and Asia while looking to drive sales within the existing portfolio
  • Strategically develop a clear long-term pipeline for partnerships, whether through distributors, direct-to-retail, or franchise channels, creating robust market and partner due diligence and commercial terms which are conducive to sustainable long-term growth
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential partners in new channels or businesses, prepare partnership proposals, pitch to potential partners for collaboration, negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes and close deals
  • Assess the performance of the partnerships or corporate business through the implementation of business growth-related metrics
  • Build greater brand awareness, market penetration and/or retail sales by acquiring new strategic brand partners or corporate partners
  • Working closely with senior management to develop and execute strategies for acquiring new customers and expanding our market presence
  • Build and nurture a high-performing team to grow the business in alignment with the management\'s vision and strategies, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the brand, monitor and evaluate market trends that would impact business growth strategies
  • Oversee and ensure smooth collaboration in marketing, fulfilment, finance, customer service, and other areas, while improving operational efficiency where necessary
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Operations and Finance to ensure smooth execution for all parties
Requirements:
  • Experience in business development/partnerships functions within the baby/nursery product sector.
  • Go-getter & driven with the ability to push through roadblocks to achieving set goals/targets agreed upon with the management.
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and ability to formulate actionable insights with recommendations
  • Strong experience in managing key stakeholders and partner onboarding
  • Excellent presentation skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to put together pitch decks and pitch to corporate contacts
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • A self-motivated, energetic and passionate individual willing to take full ownership
  • Possesses the personality and ability to build a strong rapport with partners/customers
