Position Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is integral to the long-term growth of the STERIS Surgical Portfolio in Singapore - Operating room (OR) ceiling solutions, OR tables & accessories, OR integration and other perioperative equipment. The BDM is responsible for developing and executing the marketing plan as well as managing the sales funnel for the portfolio to meet the short and long-term business goals of the company.

As the BDM for Surgical Portfolio, the individual needs to be comfortable in consulting during surgery, have the necessary project management skills, a strong attention to detail and good communication and presentation capabilities. Set pricing, build business strategy and business plan for the surgical business, submit investment proposal for growth or recovery, responsible for mid-long term business growth

Duties

Manage and grow STERIS\' existing Customer base in Singapore

  • Develop strong relationships with Hospital Key Stakeholders, OR, Facilities Management, BME, Operations
Maintain and grow the sales pipeline
  • Identify new opportunities for growth
  • Sales activities
  • Utilize Salesforce for managing the sales funnel
Develop and execute the marketing plan
  • Develop the Segmentation, Targeting, promotion - strategy
  • Develop the pricing strategy
  • Work with regional marketing to plan and execute local marketing campaigns
Deliver Periodic Business Reviews with APAC and Global leadership
  • Deliver quarterly business review on surgical portfolio performance
  • Have regular meetings with global marketing stakeholders for alignment
Monitor and Respond to tender posts on various platforms
  • Work with the team to submit tenders in a timely fashion
Conduct regular customer training and demonstrations.
  • Onsite Inservice
  • Provide support during evaluations of OR tables
  • Organize regular demonstrations and trainings in the APAC showroom
Develops short and long-range goals and objectives that align with the strategic growth plans of STERIS.
Meet/Exceed sales revenue targets for the Financial Year
Develop professional plans and proposals for hospital OR projects

Education Degree

Bachelor\'s Degree in Business

Required Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in working the Operating theatre environment Experience in turnaround situation
2. Experience in developing marketing strategy and plans
3. Project management
4. Able to work with ambiguity
5. Have previously worked on implementation of large hospital OR projects
6. Have experience in selling OR room solutions
7. Fluent oral and good written English to maintain effective communication with global teams
8. Must be customer-oriented and result-driven
9. Must be a self-starter, possess a high sense of urgency, and "can do" attitude
10. Proficiency in Autocad is a bonus
