Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will spearhead efforts to identify new business opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence in the e-waste recycling industry. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with outbound calling and eager to build a foundation in sales and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct cold calls to potential clients to introduce our e-waste recycling services and generate new business leads. Follow up on inbound inquiries and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients. Assist in qualifying leads and setting up appointments for the senior sales team. Maintain accurate records of calls, emails, and client interactions using CRM tools. Research target industries and companies to identify decision-makers and new outreach opportunities. Support basic marketing and outreach efforts to raise awareness about the company's services. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely follow-ups and smooth onboarding of new clients. Stay informed about our services, pricing, and industry basics to effectively communicate with potential clients. Track outreach metrics and assist in preparing simple sales activity reports.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a confident phone presence. Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations with potential clients. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales role. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices (training will be provided). Ability to research and gather information on target industries and companies. Organized and detail-oriented, with good time management skills. Interest in environmental sustainability, recycling, or the tech industry is a plus. Prior experience in customer service, telemarketing, or sales support is advantageous but not required. Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,500.00 per month
