The Business Development Representative Role
As a key member of the Demand Center, the Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities across strategic enterprise accounts. Partnering closely with Account Executives, this role focuses exclusively on outbound prospecting, account research, and pipeline generation to support regional sales goals.

Here's how you'll be making an impact:
Conduct targeted outbound outreach through calls, emails, and social channels to engage senior decision-makers
Research and map accounts to uncover business priorities, buying centers, and key stakeholders
Maintain accurate prospect and activity information within Salesforce CRM
Qualify prospects against established criteria to ensure a healthy, high-quality pipeline
Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored messaging and outreach strategies
Track and report weekly activity metrics and pipeline contribution
Incorporate feedback from Sales Leadership and Demand Center to refine prospecting strategies
Represent Qlik at virtual or in-person networking events, webinars, and tradeshows when required
We're looking for a teammate with:
2-4+ years
of experience in outbound business development or inside sales within B2B SaaS or technology environments
Proven ability to
research, prospect, and qualify
opportunities into mid-market and enterprise accounts
Demonstrated success in
achieving or exceeding pipeline generation and quota targets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions confidently
Experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting tools
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
