Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to understand customer behavior, competitors, macro-economics, and target product segments
  • Monitor and report on changes in the business landscape, keeping abreast with industry trends and market dynamics to provide strategic insights
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis and lead generation, researching potential markets, and initiating relationships with key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with important stakeholders, such as customers, partners, and regulators
  • Manage and expand our industry and market databases, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with technical teams across Singapore, Canada, and the USA to develop go-to-market strategies for regional and global markets
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events, promoting the brand and networking with potential customers and partners
  • Prepare high-impact strategic presentation materials for senior management and investors
  • Facilitate strategic planning events, which include board presentations and retreats, contributing to agenda-setting, materials preparation, and logistics management
  • Stay informed about local laws and the business environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards

Job Requirements:
  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related fields
  • Minimum of three years working experience in related field required
  • Proven experience in market research and analysis, strategic planning, and financial analysis
  • Strong skills in data synthesis, analysis, and presentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of local laws and business environment, particularly within the food ingredients, semiconductor, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and energy sectors
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and sales targets, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ambitious, with a clear focus on meeting challenging targets and KPIs
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, embodying a truly innovative and problem-solving mindset
  • An unwavering commitment to customer centricity, always putting the customer\'s needs at the forefront
  • Candidates with more relevant experience and/or qualifications will be considered for a Senior Executive role
