Job Description

To generate

consistent monthly revenue

by identifying, pitching, and closing partnerships with:


SMEs seeking authentic video storytelling or social media content


Corporate clients seeking brand activation, CSR, or youth engagement campaigns


Schools and education partners for edutainment collaborations and media projects


This person bridges

sales strategy, client servicing, and creative production coordination

-- ensuring every deal aligns with MGM's brand pillars.





Key Responsibilities



1.

Corporate Sales & Revenue Generation



Identify and reach out to potential corporate clients, SMEs, and brands.


Pitch Mu Gua Media's services: video production, storytelling, corporate branding, digital content, and events.


Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations.


Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet monthly revenue targets.


Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term retainer projects.





2.

Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorships



Secure partnerships for youth-corporate campaigns, branded events, or sponsored content.


Collaborate with the our Academy team for co-branded initiatives (e.g., youth showcases, speaking competitions, or sponsored mentorship programs).


Develop creative pitch decks and present proposals to potential sponsors.





3.

Market Expansion & Brand Positioning



Research industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging SME branding needs.


Suggest package ideas, promotions, and new offerings to attract clients.


Represent Mu Gua Media at networking events, exhibitions, and business forums.





4.

Account Management & Coordination



Work closely with the internal creative, production, and marketing teams.


Ensure smooth project handover after sales confirmation.


Maintain CRM data for leads, sales, and client updates.





Ideal Candidate Profile



Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Media.


2-5 years of B2B sales, partnership, or marketing experience (agency or creative industry preferred).


Confident in presentations, cold-calling, and relationship-building.


Understands media production, storytelling, and branding fundamentals.


Self-driven, KPI-oriented, and motivated by commissions and creative collaboration.


Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred.





Compensation (Singapore)





Commission:

5 - 10% of confirmed project value (video, branding, or partnership)


Quarterly Bonus:

Based on hitting cumulative sales targets


Allowance:

Transport & phone allowance


Work Hours:

5-day week (Mon-Fri, 10 am - 6 pm)

Location

Singapore HQ (client meetings & hybrid work)


Probation Period:

3 months (convert to Senior Executive upon strong performance)

Senior Business Development Manager (Year 2)

- manage key accounts and a junior sales team.

- lead regional expansion and cross-brand initiatives.


Head of Sales (Year 4+)
