About the role

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for playing a key role on the full spectrum of marketing and business development activities for the business in Asia. Working closely with the regional Business Development (\xe2\x80\x9cBD\xe2\x80\x9d) team in Asia, and colleagues from across the globe. Other key responsibilities include:

• Supporting BD leads across a range of practices on BD and marketing initiatives
• Providing research, analysis, and reporting to support the identification and development of new clients and the enhancement of existing client relationships
• Assisting with the creation and maintenance of written marketing materials and web site content, including practice profiles and relevant experience lists
• Collaborating with regional and global colleagues to access their expertise and support, ranging from brand and communications, events and e-marketing to our dedicated new business team who lead on the production of pitch books, presentations and responses to RFI\xe2\x80\x99s and RFP\xe2\x80\x99s
• Supporting on drafting submissions for legal directories and related industry guides
• Working with the events team to organize market-leading events such as panel/speaking engagement opportunities, seminars, receptions, thought leadership dinners, etc.)

About you

• Demonstrate well developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels and superb project management skills
• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and strong writing skills
• Excellent attention to detail for all projects as well as the ability to keep sight of the big picture as the common end-goal

And have:

• Have previous experience in professional services Business Development/Marketing
• A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (or equivalent) in a related field
• Previous legal industry experience is preferred but not required
