Position Overview The Director, Business Development & Strategy in Singapore must has strong background in biotech to ensure the deep understanding of technology tends in healthcare domain. The major responsibility is to lead region-specific initiatives to accelerate company growth through strategic planning, marketing campaigns and investment.

Job Summary 1) With a strong grasp of investment in the high-tech sector, you will be expected to leverage your investment skill (sourcing, qualification, financial modeling, due diligence) and resources in the PE/VC landscapes to accelerate the growth of the company. 2) With strong insights for emerging technologies, you will be responsible to build forecasting models, explore new business opportunities, and make business recommendations based on systematic technology and market analyses. 3) Build and lead regional-specific business development team to identify unmet needs in healthcare CDMO industry and formulate solutions with internal and external partners for entering new markets. 4) Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, as well as bridge resources in Singapore, China, and other countries to provide customize solutions for clients. 5) Be responsible for all aspects of the implementation of marketing plans\xe2\x80\x94\xe2\x80\x94Building brand awareness, identify potential customers, manage advertising activities, organizing trade shows, etc.

Job Requirements 1) PhD degree in Physics/Engineering/bio-medicine from top-tier institutions is mandatory. 2) At least 3 years working experience in Private Equity or Venture Capital of healthcare with demonstrated technological analysis ability and strong track record in commercial due diligence. 3) Post-doc training will be an added advantage. 4) Research and/or development experience in bio-medical applications is highly preferred. 5) Excellent business research capability, analytical thinking and finance modeling is essential. 6) International experience is strongly desired and frequent business travel is required
