Job Description

Responsibilities:

Foster and maintain strong relationships with Charterers to ensure effective collaboration. Oversee daily operations of bulk and gas carrier vessels alongside the Master and technical team. Serve as the key point of contact between Technical Managers and Charterers, managing communications and resolving operational issues. Support the Business Manager by researching and identifying potential new business opportunities prior to chartering. Manage administrative duties related to contracts and chartering processes.

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in any field of study. At least 1 year of work experience in any industry; experience in shipping is advantageous. Willingness to learn and undergo training to become familiar with shipping operations at a comfortable pace. Ability to understand client and supplier perspectives and seek mutually beneficial solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Self-motivated and passionate about the role. Knowledge of Japanese is an advantage.
