Cleantech Solar is a pan-Asia supplier of renewable energy to corporates, combining the capabilities of a regional player with responsiveness and agility.
Headquartered in Singapore, Cleantech Solar has been selected for numerous solar power plants across India and Southeast Asia, across the various stages of operations, construction, and development. This includes installations in India, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore.

The purpose of this role is to allow interns to learn how to provide support to the enterprise in the areas of business analytics, big data processing for our solar photovoltaic (PV) assets and also general IT admin support to the organization on a day-to-day basis. The role envisions work with multi-disciplinary teams ranging from business development through engineers in various stages of the design, building and operations of PV systems across Asia. Analysis of business metrics as well as birth and life of PV assets support the enterprises growth and decision making, using statistical computing and graphics language.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be part of IT team to provide insights via business intelligence tools using Microsoft Power BI as well as programming/statistical tools like R and Python to various units across different streams in the organization;
• Support in maintaining the Salesforce database activities as well as the customization of features necessary for the efficient running of the enterprise;
• Assist with work in complex datasets, producing useful outputs and increasing staff efficiency;
• Contribute to the documentation efforts of prevailing process and suggestion of ideas on improving existing systems;
• Responsible for onboarding/offboarding new users via MS Office 365 for the organization and assist in troubleshooting issues on the same;
• Assigning and configuring permissions and support in automating tasks within SharePoint and Microsoft Flow for members of the enterprise;
• Liaise with IT Vendors in multiple geographies and assist in the procurement of software and hardware.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Comfortable with Microsoft suite of products;
• Knowledge in database structure and SQL language;
• Demonstrate hunger and willingness to learn fast from new modern business analytics tools;
• Must know how to work independently in a challenging high growth, dynamic environment;
• Able to support IT department
