Here, you will make an impact by:Develop and manage data pipelinesBuilding optimized data models that support Power BI dashboard requirements by integrating data from enterprise data warehouses, cloud platform, and external sources.Working closely with data engineers and other technical partners on foundational data model construction and data access.Acting as the Power BI subject matter expert, including responsibilities for training, dashboard reviews, and issue troubleshooting.Sharing solutions and collaborating with the broader 3M analytics, data intelligence, and technical community.Designing, developing, and delivering Microsoft Power BI dashboards that enable senior leaders and business teams to efficiently access key sales and other information.Apply statistical methods and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools and methodologies in data analysis and intelligence.Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy of data analysisWillingness to learn and embrace working with and collaborating with different cultures in a global environmentYour Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institutionThree (3) years full-time professional business experience developing data intelligence solutions in a private, public, government or military environmentStrong excel and Power BI skillsIntermediate to expert-level proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)Experience developing variables and calculations using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasetsProficient in English, both spoken and written, with the capability to effectively communicate with people worldwide across various time zones.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.Continuous learner with a keen interest in exploring new technologies and mythologies.Experience with Python or RDatabase administration experienceMaster\'s degree in BusinessStrong understanding of distributors financial goals/metricsBackground sales specifically with Industrial productsWork ConditionWorker Type: PermanentWork Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)This position does not require relocation.Employees from any of the following target locations may apply:
