Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience within the APAC region in a role communicating, aligning, and managing internal stakeholders across levels.
  • Experience in managing projects with multiple players across cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in creating new processes and programs from scratch.
  • Experience in applying project management skills to implement strategies and programs at a company-wide scale.
  • Ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders, and inspire a distributed group of contributors and leaders.
  • Strong track record of solving complex problems, strategic thinking and delivering significant impact.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic, and investigative skills, combined with strong business acumen.
About the job

In this role, you will be a critical partner for the People Experience (PX) APAC leader finalizing organizational design and implementation and managing the health of the APAC People Experience team. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects and organizational change initiatives meet their objectives by increasing adoption and engagement and inspiring the team to change behaviors. You will align the highest-level PX team priorities with day-to-day operations. You will be a critical thought leader and catalyst for activation and change management, collaborating with leadership across the organization to ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution.

Responsibilities
  • Run business cadence, including working with leadership to define, track and report on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and advise executive leadership on the right forums, timing and content to increase velocity.
  • Manage business operations, including people strategy delivery, headcount, budget planning and management, annual business planning, and optimize core business processes.
  • Partner with the PX Culture and Change team to land a clear narrative and integrated communications program to support and amplify the initiatives and capabilities PX teams are launching. Consult on content for all teams, executive presentations, and other vehicles.
  • identify and lead cross-functional projects to optimize organizational performance and other select initiatives where program scope is best matched with the Business Operations team.
  • Work cross-functionally with Velocity, Strategy and Innovation, Finance and other teams to ensure PX remains aligned with Google-wide priorities.
