As part of the Global Front Line Risk & Control department, the Transformation & Process Optimization team supports the department in its role to consolidate & drive the risk and control function for key business processes that supports the Front Office.

We are looking for a Business Project Specialist to work on key organizational initiatives leveraging on RPA and other digital solutions. The successful candidate is expected to be subject matter expert in business process reengineering with a background in KYC/AML.

Main Duties:
  • Manage stakeholders across Business, Operations, and technology teams to drive a digital and automation solution agenda
  • Analyze processes, identify potential automation opportunities, and propose a plan of automation strategy
  • Conduct problem analysis and root cause investigation for process improvement
  • Organize meetings or workshops to discuss with stakeholders & SMEs, to understand business requirements
  • Establish a shared understanding on why we are working on something before we develop and prioritizing deliverables within the task list
  • Manage prioritization of project pipelines, mobilization of resources, and risk mitigation on project deliverables
  • Assist in coordinating prioritization of business requirements throughout solution development lifecycle
  • Promote and develop sound process and system change management practices which includes the planning of training activities for the introduction of new solutions or processes as well as the delivery of the required documentation
  • Support in the preparation of training plans or materials, user manual, and assist in operational rollout
  • Oversee the timely delivery, data integrity and completeness of key management reports and perform analysis to identify key drivers on data exceptions and trends in the metrics
  • Prompt escalation of issues and anomalies in data and follow-up with investigation
  • Communicate and follow-up with various stakeholders to ensure required actions are to be taken, and/or to collate details on the root causes and potential remediation of issues identified
  • Automation of manual processes and implementation of enhancements with a focus on operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the rollout of enhanced reporting processes

Qualifications

Work Experience Requirements
  • Min 4-6 years of work experience in Banking, IT or Risk/Control functions in a financial institution
  • Experience in the implementation of RPA solutions across multiple tools/systems
  • Excellent Business Analysis skills: gather and elicit business needs, functional specifications, process mapping, data mapping, UAT conception/execution
  • Experience in business process improvements and process reengineering (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Knowledge in AML and Source of Wealth (SoW) for Client Onboarding and Periodic Reviews in a private banking environment
  • Ability to conduct detail business, process assessment and process modelling
  • A team player who works well with technical and business stakeholders (Front Office, Compliance and Operations)
  • Strong analytical skills with aptitude for numbers and an eye for details, ability to deal with large data sets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly self-organized, good time management and result-driven team player with the ability to take initiative and multi-task
Education Requirements
  • Min Degree holder
  • Experience in SQL, Power BI / Tableau, VBA, R or Python is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (especially Excel and Power Point
