Your role

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to support the development of UBS\'s risk management frameworks using big data and advanced analytics? Are you good at handling and interpreting large data sets? Do you enjoy data analysis and problem-solving?

We\'re looking for someone who can:

• capture requirements / data processing flows from discussions with various stakeholders across risk taxonomies and design automated solutions based on agreed methodology
• provide on demand, ad hoc deep dive data analysis while juggling multiple priorities / projects
• dual hat between running the RtB on existing data quality process and installing new data quality checks (based on new observations in the data
• engage business and IT stakeholders depending on the situation and the challenge.

Your team

You\'ll be working in the UBS Wealth Management Asia Pacific (WM APAC) Regional Business Risk Organization Control Framework Team in Singapore. We support the WM APAC business as the first-line risk management, front line support and control framework owners.

Your expertise

• university degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Data Sciences or related disciplines
• relevant experience of 2-5 years in Wealth Management risk controls/data investigation related execution.
• ability to work with data including agile methodology and coding skills using common data science tools (e.g., Power Query, Python); visualization tools (e.g. Tableau); and database language (e.g. SQL) and applying them to business and decisions
• understanding of Wealth Management Risk and Compliance topics, and sources of relevant customer and transaction data is a plus
• experience in a regional environment across multiple line of business and familiar with location / regional / global working dynamics
• ability to summarize complex ideas (including technical/statistical ideas) in business-friendly language
• ability to handle multiple projects with minimal oversight, and to respond to changing business priorities
• a team player with the ability to work independently
• able to work with stakeholders with different levels of data literacy
• highly organized and detail-orientated person with a \xe2\x80\x9cGet it right first time \xe2\x80\x9capproach
• able to work under pressure
