The individual will work with the manager and team leader in delivering quality enhancement solutions to systems used by customers and staff who use to serve customers. These systems are required to be reliable, stable and efficient in this dynamic and challenging telecom environment. The incumbent will handle various tasks and projects concurrently, taking on multiple roles such as project member, communication manager, business analysts, etc.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Project manage change requests raised by business including

  • Work with users to identify their gaps and define their objectives
  • Gather requirements and develop clear, well-defined user stories.
  • Review IT proposed solutions \xe2\x80\x93 ensure the designs are scalable, meet organisational/business objectives, synergised across systems and platform
  • Solicit required resources for testing, deployment etc.
  • Develop schedule and plan with respective stakeholders from IT, business.
  • Track progress of activities. Work with team lead in managing risks and deviations
  • Communicate system changes/enhancements to affected stakeholder
  • Administer the governance framework, process and guidelines that are set up for managing enhancement requests, user access management etc.
  • Handle and manage the administrative processes required e.g. raising online requests
  • Manage vendor \xe2\x80\x93 ensure that vendor delivers and performs according to contract terms, and monitor payment, warranty etc.
  • Work with IT and incident management team on monitoring system performance esp. to address design gaps
  • Handle the legal and audit related matters in the role of a business owner of the assigned system \xe2\x80\x93 work with team lead and respective IT to provide the required information and reports.
  • Work with training departments \xe2\x80\x93 including development of materials, conduct briefing of changes to be deployed on systems
Requirements:
  • Minimum diploma in any discipline \xe2\x80\x93 preferably Business, Operations or IT related
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
  • Meticulous, analytical, organized and a reliable person
  • Possesses maturity in handling challenging tasks & situations
  • Good in MS Office
  • Prior experience in similar capacity or basic project management will be an advance
