You are in charge of all indirect procurement in Singapore.
Our Team The team works with:

• Internal customers - All functional departments within Molex.
• External customers - Vendors, suppliers and subcons.

What You Will Do

• Execution of Buying activities for Indirect Commodities.
• Lead the Buying process working with the internal stakeholders to meet their business requirements.
  
• Initiate ideas and actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of purchasing activities.
  
• Acquire and maintain technical understanding of procurement, knowledge of the supplier base and elements of product cost.
  
• Seek opportunities for total cost improvement across supply base including vendor consolidation, volume leveraging and commercial negotiation.
  
• Lead the KPI\xe2\x80\x99s pertaining to purchasing/buying role, creation of RFx documents, proposal review and risk analysis. Competent to use different sourcing/buying tools such as sealed bidding/Auction.
  
• Interact with Global Category Management for supplier negotiations and contract development.
  
• Ensure and monitor company compliance with contractual obligations, sourcing/buying policies and preferred supplier arrangements.
  
• Drive and manage Special projects whenever assigned.
  
• Able to properly handle confidential and/or sensitive information relative to the business requirements.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor\'s degree from college or university.
• Minimum 1 year of experience focusing on sourcing role.
• High Integrity is a must.
• Good reading and written English and Chinese are required to liaise with Chinese counterparts.
• Strong analytical / problem solving skills, and excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with and entrepreneurial attitude.
• Good written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills \xe2\x80\x93 Microsoft Office Suite.

What Will Put You Ahead

• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain.
  
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously. ERP Systems, SAP Ariba, Coupa.
