Creating a world where we all have more time with he people we love.That\xe2\x80\x99s what makes us Roche.As the buyer, you will be supporting the purchases of materials, scientific equipment and services and office/business supplies. Checks requisitions, obtains quotes, examines bids and makes awards. Evaluates vendor reliability; develops new supply sources, as required, in which current vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Coordinates purchasing activities with other departments to maintain inventory at planned levels. As required, monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality and quality at best value.The Opportunity:Responsible for the End-to-End Source to Pay process for the Procurement categories (Direct/MRO/Indirect) as assigned and ensuring zero stock out of materials. Execute the RFQ/RFI/Full Tender process for site requested goods and services to achieve favorable results and negotiates best pricing and established delivery and performance KPIs with suppliersResponsible for management of the end-to-end Contracts Management process for Site Operational Services and Regional contracts. Conduct compliant, thorough and appropriate assessment, analysis, drafting, review, and issuance of contractual agreement while adhering to required timelines. Support and collaborate with partners across Roche network sites and engage in network level activities to ensure business process consistency and best practice sharing.Ensure Procurement activities adhere to Roche Global Procurement procedures and standards, RSTO Third Party Spend Policy, Safety and cGMP regulations. Site audit readiness for internal and external regulatory agencies and Global/Site KPI and metric adherences.Engage with Global/Regional Procurement at network level activities to ensure business process consistency and best practice sharing. Work closely with Global/Regional Procurement, Global Materials Strike Team, Suppliers, Process Engineers and Materials planners on the re-supply of materials that are in critical supply.Lead/ Participate in Cross-functional teams Kaizen improvement projects and drive Continuous improvement initiatives on Procurement processes to improve work efficiency, effectiveness and drive Procurement cost savingsWho You AreYou hold a degree in in Business, Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field of study ideally with at least 5 years of relevant experience Procurement or Supply Chain operations in manufacturing, Biopharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical industry with cGMP desirable.Experience in sourcing and procuring GMP/MRO/Indirect materials with strong negotiation skills as well as knowledge in contracts managementExhibit numeric with strong analytical skills, creative problem solving capabilities and an eye for details and possess the ability to identify the key issues of a problem, approach problem solving analytically and systematically to reach optimal solutions and implement plans of action.Experience in SAP and good in excelWho we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
