Responsibilities You will assure procurement and inventory management for the manufacturing of the diagnostics instruments, lab automation equipment and/or non-manufacturing materials, equipment and services in accordance with supply chain optimization and management objectives. Other duties include planning for factory materials, managing orders and inventory, managing contract manufacturer (CM) or original design manufacturer (ODM) relationships to ensure inventory optimization, coordinating material sourcing and provision of timely update to the team with regards to material status. You will work with the marketing, sales, R&D, logistics, customer service, production and engineering teams closely in your job. Also, you may be responsible for contributing to or leading continuous improvement projects, such as in new product introduction (NPI), resourcing, cost reduction and/or quality.

• Manage the material acquisition process from gathering purchasing info/requirement to delivery through reviewing customer demands & prioritization with Marketing on a weekly basis and working with suppliers on the required capacity, build & ship plans.
• Update weekly reports to various stakeholders on the overall demand and supply situation, GR and invoices discrepancy.
• Validate purchase requisition (PR) requirements and convert PR to purchase order (PO). Timely communication with suppliers to ensure accurate information is received, understood, and acted upon.
• Monitor supplier shipment and work with respective logistics team in goods receipt issue/ discrepancy.
• Keep track of all goods and services ordered and received, and maintain accurate inventory records including details on price, performance, and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with supplier, logistics team, and AP team to resolve GR/ invoices issues.
• Establish and manage relationships with suppliers including contract and price negotiation contract, monitoring supplier performance, selecting/analyzing the supply base and developing and executing the commodity plans.
• Deliver weekly report on GR and invoices discrepancy.
• Coordinate and follow up closely with logistics center and Materials Engineer for NCM/ RMA return.
• Resolve procurement related issues or problems.
• May need to support global or multiple sites.
  

• Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent education in any fields.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain operations in a MNC environment.
• Strong knowledge of production and material planning, purchasing, and inventory management processes.
• Ability to analyze and resolve business problems using data analytics (i.e. Excel Macro), dashboard and supply chain/financial modelling.
• Proficiency with ERP system. (SAP preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively within a diversified multi-cultural environment.
• Consistent track record in building collaborative working relationship and exceeding business and operational objectives.
• Project management skills with ability to multi-task and follow-through on action items.
• Have an analytical mind to apply sound and systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, presenting, and resolving supply-chain issues.
