PRIMARY FUNCTION
To support the Manager, Delivery Assurance to meet Performance driven objectives

• 
  Manages delivery assurance processes and / or works to achieve day-to-day delivery assurance objectives.
• 
  Implements solutions to issues such as the coordination of shipments, sub-process suppliers and technical assistance to ensure on-time delivery, and to identify root causes that impacts on-time delivery.
• 
  Implements process improvements and deploys delivery assurance system to ensure early identification of shortages.
• 
  Collaborates with other departments as necessary with regard to meeting customer requirements, minimizing negative impacts on a business in the case of shortages.
• 
  Ensures timely delivery of all materials required for the production of assigned complex components.
• 
  Execute the Material Planning & Order Placement Suppliers in a timely manner.
• 
  Follow up with suppliers to expedite and ensure that the Supplier On time Delivery Performance are met. Escalate issues timely to address supply issues
• 
  Proactively communicate with internal customers on any potential delays to avoid downtime and allow external customer management to take place.
• 
  Follow up and execute Inventory Management programs and review regularly meet Inventory Goal/Objectives and operational responsibility
• 
  Coordinate and communicate Engineering design change implementation effectively to avoid/minmize any E&O exposure.
• 
  Action on Non Conforming Parts disposition and work with suppliers to collect timely.
• 
  Strict adherence to the organizations’ EHS, ETHICS, Quality and Sarbane Oxley objectives is expected. Ensure compliance at all time.
• 
  Use the Carrier Excellence tools to meet Metrics/Thermostat and continuously improve the processes.

Education / Experience

• 
  Degree in Business or Engineering and minimum 5 years experience within the Procurement area 3 to 5 years min.
• 
  Excellent oral, written communication skills, analytical and organizational skills
• 
  Experience in leading and managing a team in a fast paced environment
