The work of our committed, highly specialized, exceptionally skilled employees results in crucial advancements in the world of cardiology and changes the lives of patients every day.The Buyer is responsible to achieve best possible cost savings while ensuring the most beneficial supply base for the company. The Buyer supports all purchasing activities within the organization. This includes the strategic relationship, the contracting, performance review and improvement of the supply base.Your Responsibilities

• Handle full set of purchasing process (Sourcing, RFQ, negotiation, shipping & follow up on deliveries
• Responsible of documentation on purchasing activities (Purchasing database maintenance, matching and submission of PO/DN/Invoice to Finance)
• Negotiates quantities, prices, delivery times, terms and conditions of delivery and payment and contractual terms
• Identifies and realizes cost savings opportunities
• Follows standard purchasing business processes
• Develops methods of business simplification for the procurement function
• Review inventory level on regular basis
• Gathering of entries in the ERP system as well as creating, maintaining and updating ERP master data for suppliers, services and materials
• Collaborate with Corporate Category Managers
• Support annual stock count
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Your Profile

• Diploma in Business, Engineering or other relevant discipline with a focus on Procurement along with 3-5 years relevant experience.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a buyer or procurement or purchasing role in a technically-oriented manufacturing or Supply Chain environment.
• Preferably in a medical devices or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Must have knowledge in SAP MM Modules
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong intercultural experience and excellent interpersonal skills
• Willing to be hands-on in assigned tasks

Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Strong understanding of cost analysis and cost reduction methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office and functional aspects of SAP MM and e-Purchasing tools
