Buyer/purchaser (aerospace)
Job Description
Source and acquire materials efficiently and cost-effectively to fulfil organizational requirements.
Drive cost savings, expand the vendor base, and monitor vendor performance on delivery and product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning processes.
Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies and standards, while coordinating timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of materials, vendors, costs, and expenditures.
Requirements:
Diploma in Supply Chain or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in
materials sourcing and vendor management
in theAerospace Industry.
Strong negotiation abilities and excellent communication skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to make informed decisions independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).If you are keen to apply for the position, kindly email your detailed resume in
