Buy-side APAC Front Office Sales
This role reflects FactSet\xe2\x80\x99s conviction in approaching our clients with a good understanding of their business models and workflows to accelerate our own growth with those in the front office making investment decisions.
In this role, the individuals will be partnering with Generalist Sales, Client Services, Trading Sales, Middle Office Sales, and Buy-side organization. The role will focus on the needs of the various firm types within Buy-side that comprise our APAC addressable markets, including institutional asset managers, asset owners, insurance, and hedge funds.
Recognizing the complexity and sophistication of our Research, Content and Analytics solutions for different personas such as; Research Analysts, Portfolio Managers, Quants, Investment Strategists and Traders in particular, the role would acquire and learn to be a SME in all front office offerings, both on and off platform. For example, Buyside Workstations, Research Management Solutions, On and Off-Platform Quantitative Solutions, StreetAccount, PM Hub , FPE and Signals. The role will execute a client-centric approach and exhibit enterprise solution selling techniques.
Candidate Profile:
Teach for differentiation based on knowledge of the client\xe2\x80\x99s business and workflows. Provide them with unique perspective and engage in a two-way dialogue.
Tailor the message based on the client value drivers.
Take Control of the sales process and is comfortable discussing money and pressure the client to close.
Experience with complex sales cycles, owning the process from initial demo through driving the close.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive growth across products and workflows as part of Front Office Workflow.
Interact frequently with clients and colleagues to develop and maintain relationships, either virtually or in person.
Strong partnership with sales enablement, product marketing, and sales and consulting to promote and build awareness of FactSet\xe2\x80\x99s Front Office Solutions. Maintain a high level of sales activities, tracking sales efforts and client intelligence in CRM.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to progress and drive opportunities to closing.
Develop as a subject matter expert for Front Office Solutions.
Be accountable for your book of business of your respective region.
Develop an understanding of competitors products and be able to position FactSet Front Office solutions\xe2\x80\x99 competitive differentiation and value. Consolidate regional market feedback for front office data/product development/enhancement.
Facilitate feedback loop between sales and the Buy-Side Front Office Product team.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required.
5+ years of industry experiences in financial data industry.
A motivated sales hunter exhibiting client centric and persistency overcoming difficulties and objections.
A strong drive for results, proven experience in chasing leads, converting leads into deals, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
A relationship builder, excited about talking to new people and building rapport, a team player.
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and passionate about the opportunities in Front Office.
Good understanding of our Front Office Solutions, including Research, Content and Analytics.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Prior experiences working with front office clients preferred.
Desire to be part of a fun, fast paced team focused on growth in one of FactSet\xe2\x80\x99s most important business segments.
